Return policy for FlexiBite products

Effective:

FlexiBite designs tactile meal rhythm tools for repeated kitchen use. This policy explains how returns, exchanges, and refunds work for goods bought directly from FlexiBite through motionjoint.world or the Belmont studio.

Eligible items

Eligible items include the Weekly Sketch Folio, Pantry Rhythm Cards, and Ingredient Orbit Wheel when purchased from FlexiBite authorised channels. Bundles return as complete sets unless FlexiBite agrees otherwise in writing.

Change of mind window

You may return unused products within fourteen days of pickup or delivery confirmation. Items must sit inside original sleeves where supplied, show no handwriting beyond light pencil tests on demo pages, and include any bands or dividers shipped with the folio.

Condition checks

FlexiBite inspects returns for moisture damage, bent cards, or scratched wheel surfaces. Products that fail inspection may receive partial credit or no refund if damage exceeds normal preview handling.

Proof of purchase

Provide your receipt number, name, and email used at purchase. FlexiBite matches records before authorising a return label or studio drop-off slot.

Return shipping

If FlexiBite offers post-in returns, you pay outbound shipping unless the product arrived defective or FlexiBite sent the wrong item. FlexiBite recommends tracked services so parcels remain visible.

Refunds

Approved refunds return to the original payment method within five business days of FlexiBite receiving the goods. Bank timelines may add additional days before funds appear.

Exchanges

Exchanges depend on stock. FlexiBite may suggest waiting lists if a colour or batch sells out. Price differences may apply when exchanging for another product tier.

Defective items

If printing smears, binding glue fails, or wheel dials stick on arrival, contact FlexiBite immediately with photos. FlexiBite may replace the item without requiring return shipping when evidence is clear.

Consumer guarantees

Nothing in this policy limits rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 for goods that are not acceptable quality or do not match description.

Non-returnable items

Personalised embossing, workshop deposits, or items marked final sale at purchase are not returnable unless defective.

International customers

FlexiBite currently prioritises New Zealand buyers. If international shipping opens, FlexiBite will publish customs and return duties guidance separately.

Restocking and admin fees

Change-of-mind returns may incur a small restocking fee when FlexiBite must re-shrink-wrap bundles or replace outer sleeves. FlexiBite lists any fee before you post items back.

Gift purchases

Gift recipients should provide the buyer receipt or order code. Refunds for gifts return to the original payer unless FlexiBite agrees to store credit for the recipient.

Environmental note

FlexiBite encourages reusing packaging when returning items. Damaged outer boxes may reduce refund amounts if FlexiBite must replace protective materials.
